All natural materials require maintenance. Wood will dry out, silver and copper will tarnish.
Periodic maintenance can not be avoided if you want to keep your items looking good and lasting long.
Cleaning and protecting silver and copper Step 1. Polish item to remove tarnish - Utilize a rag or toothbrush to get all locations, then wipe down with rag. I prefer Maas Polish, you can get it for $13.00 for 4 oz online. Step 2. Rinse item thoroughly with water and dish soap. Dawn dish soap works best Step 3. Solvent rinse in denatured alcohol, then let dry (very important step). Alcohol can be found at any drug store Step 4. Coat and Protect with Protecta Clear- Dip solid rings - spray chains, and 'twist rings' Protecta Clear can be found online - 4 oz liquid $19.95. 1 oz Spray &16.95 Step 5. Let dry overnight
